Saturday, May 29th
Crosswater Yacht Club is hosting a Memorial Day Weekend Cookout benefitting Folds of Honor. Tents will be situated on the main walkway where burgers and sausage wraps will be served up fresh! They will be accepting donations for Folds of Honor, a foundation that provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
Head to the Memorial Day BBQ & Concert at Chisos Boots on South 1st St. This event features a live, musical performance from Jonathan Terrell and Cowboy Diplomacy, championship-level BBQ, and a pop-up market! A donation to the Texas Military Forces Museum gets you BBQ and beverages, as does purchasing a pair of Chisos boots anytime during the month of May.
Chow down on pizza and wine to the tune of local band, Shop Dawgz at Rising Sun Vineyard’s Memorial Day Party. The tasting room is open at limited capacity, but tables and chairs are spread out throughout the property so that you can enjoy both the weather and the wine!
Sunday, May 30th
Fill up on crawfish at Down South Cajjun Eats’ Memorial Day BBQ & Crawfish Boil. The party starts at 11 am until supplies last. There will be DJ performances by DJ Donte, DJ Hella Yella, and DJ Melissa Bellz.
Get your two-steppin’ on at Twilight Rodeo’s inaugural summer series located at Two Wishes Ranch Weddings and Events. From 3:00-10:00 pm enjoy live music, BBQ and drinks, yard games, vendors, art, and more. This event is 18+ so leave the kids at home for a fun night outside!
Monday, May 31st
Get active this Memorial Day by taking part in the Cap Tex Tri. Swim, bike, and run before celebrating afterwards at the finish line festival. All participants and spectators are free to join and food and drink will be available to purchase with music from a live band.
