Calling all witches, ghouls, goblins, and ghosts! I think you’ll all agree that one night of Halloween fun just isn’t enough. We plan to celebrate all month long with these spooktacular events happening in Austin!

Texas Pumpkin Fest

From now, to October 30th, head to Leander to get your fill of pumpkin patch fun. You’ll be able to hunt for the perfect pumpkin, get your face painted, and bump along on a fun train ride. Get physical and test your skills with axe throwing, or let it all out with pumpkin smashing!

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics

Throughout October, The Mansion on San Gabriel is hosting Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics. Listen to a string quartet play a spooky playlist of thrilling classics like the Halloween theme song, The Addam’s Family theme song, Stranger Things theme song, and many more. This 60-minute concert is a multi-sensory experience that you won’t want to miss!

Halloween Children’s Concert

On October 23rd, get dressed up for a symphony of haunting music at The Long Center. This frightfully fun performance will have your little one’s eyes and ears captured with boo-tiful music by the Austin Symphony Orchestra.

Brentwood Halloween Carnival

This annual fundraiser event for Brentwood Elementary School will be held on October 22nd. Head to the school for a festival of fun! There will be games, a bake sale, flashlight mazes, a haunted house, a magic show, and more. Costumes are encouraged but fun is mandatory!

Tim Burton Double Feature

One of the best ways to celebrate spooky season is with a morbid movie marathon! Head to the Austin Public Library’s Old Quarry Branch on October 22nd for a double feature of two Tim Burton classics. At noon, watch the beloved The Nightmare Before Christmas and then get cozy for Corpse Bride at two in the afternoon. This is a family and costume friendly affair!

Halloween Block Party

The Saturday before Halloween, head to El Salido Park for block party fun! Dress up for trick or treating throughout a half mile of the park’s spooked-out trail, then head back to the park for pizza, s’mores, and a special Halloween movie.

We can’t wait to see you out there, celebrating spooky season with all of the great events our wonderful city has to offer!
